OpenAI and Microsoft just asked Judge Stein for 2 additional weeks to file their opposition to the New York Times/News Plaintiffs’ summary judgment briefs.
They contend: “Defendants make this request because News Plaintiffs’ “errata” to their extraordinarily lengthy Rule 56.1 Statement and supporting Brook Declaration—filed two weeks after the summary judgment deadline—confirm that their Rule 56.1 Statement was riddled with errors and missing evidence, causing significant prejudice as described below.”
