Judge Chhabria ruled that Mark Zuckerberg will sit for a 4 hour deposition in the cluster of copyright cases related to Kadrey. Meanwhile, Meta is on trial in the social media addiction lawsuit in Oakland before Judge Gonzalez Rogers. California and other states are seeking $200 billion from Meta.
“Court clarified the amount of time Mr. Zuckerberg will sit for a deposition will be 4 hours. Court granted Plaintiff’s request to extend the duration of the Rule 30(b)(6) deposition from 14 hours to 21 hours. The sequencing of the motions for class certification and summary judgment in Sullivan to be addressed at the next case management conference. Parties to meet and confer and inform the Court what time works for all parties for the next case management conference that will be held on 8/26/2026.”
