Although Judge Martínez-Olguín expressed doubt of Anthropic’s earlier notice to seek a related case status between Carreyrou v. Anthropic and Bartz v. Anthopic, Anthropic has formally asked the Judge to consider related case status with two recently filed lawsuits Chicken Soup for the Soul v. Anthropic and Cognella, Inc. v. Anthropic.
Presumably, because Judge Pitts has yet to determine if Carreyrou v. Anthropic aka Cambronne v. Anthropic should be severed, Anthropic has not sought a related case status for this case yet.

The same law firm representing Carreyrou aka Cambronne also represents ChickenSoup for the Soul and Cognella. They reportedly filed a motion to relate the Cambronne v. Anthropic case before Judge Pitts with the Cognella v. Anthropic case. Anthropic says it will oppose that motion.
Anthropic makes a decent case for related cases, citing Judge Chhabria’s suggestion that ChickenSoup v. Meta was related to Kadrey v. Meta, for which Meta has now filed a formal motion for related case status, and, after a joint stipulation of severance by the parties, a request that Judge Chhabria relate also Cambronne v. Meta to Kadrey v. Meta.
If all of this sounds a bit confusing, it is.
