After rebuke of making “preposterous” request for sealing, Meta seeks more limited sealing of parts of exhibits to briefs re: Plaintiffs’ Third Amended Consolidated Complaint

After being publicly rebuked by Judge Chhabria for making a “preposterous” request to seal parts of briefs and related exhibits to Plaintiffs’ Third Amended Consolidated Complaint, Meta has filed a a revised request in more limited fashion, as Judge Chhabria invited in his original order.

Meta does so “in an abundance of caution, and taking into consideration the Court’s guidance in its Sealing Order.”

Judge Chhabria had warned, however: “If Meta again submits an unreasonably broad sealing request, all materials will simply be unsealed.”
