The slow moving lawsuit Alcon Entertainment v. Tesla will see another round of motions to dismiss. The parties propose that Elon Musk and Tesla file their motion to dismiss the Third Amended Complaint, while staying the case for the additional defendant Warner Brothers Discovery. Judge Wu granted Elon Musk’s, Tesla’s and Warner Brothers’ motion to dismiss the Complaint of Alcon Entertainment with leave to amend. Presumably the claims that are allowed are the ones indicated by Judge Wu’s tentative ruling.

Alcon Entertainment filed its opposition to Tesla’s motion to dismiss the Second Amended Complaint. After Judge Wu dismissed some of Alcon Entertainment’s claims, it filed a Second Amended Complaint to address the deficiencies. Apparently, the parties couldn’t reach a settlement!
