The first newspaper suit v. OpenAI filed in the Southern District of Mississippi, Emmerich Newspapers v. Microsoft, has been conditionally transferred to the MDL litigation before Judge Stein. A second newspaper suit in the same district in Mississippi, Boone Newsmedia v. Microsoft, is still in that district.
