Dario Amodei put in hot seat as Jensen Huang and others at White House meeting questioned Amodei’s statements about AI dangers

The Wall Street Journal reports that Dario Amodei was put in the hot seat by other AI executives at the White House meeting on “why he was being so extreme in public about the capabilities of AI models and risks they posed following a lunch in the East Room with about two dozen CEOs.” Perhaps fittingly Amodei sat at the end of the long table, far from the center, almost out of the picture. Amodei was the only one of the leading AI companies’ executives who was not at the State Dinner for China’s Pres. Xi Jinping.

Even this short interview outside the White House shows the start contrast in styles between Amodei and Huang.
