Suno has been sued for the 4th time in the past week. In Canada, the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCON) filed a copyright lawsuit in the Federal Court of Canada.
From SOCON: “In its lawsuit, SOCAN lists a sample of 150 publicly available outputs that Suno has made available and streamed on its platform in Canada. Those findings reflect only a sample of Suno’s broader unauthorized activity and demonstrate the urgent need for responsible AI practices.”
