Michael Sullivan and textbook authors sue Mark Zuckerberg, Meta for copyright infringement

Meta just get hit with its 16th AI copyright lawsuit. Mark Zuckerberg was named, too. Zuckerberg is named in three such lawsuits: Elsevier, Hobbs, and this one.

Michael Sullivan and other textbook authors have alleged similar allegations of torrenting and training with their copyrighted works as alleged in other book author lawsuits, including Kadrey v. Meta.

This case will likely be deemed related to the cluster of book author and publisher cases before Judge Chhabria. He presides over Kadrey, Entrepreneur Media, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Cambronne, and Cognella.
