The Kadrey v. Meta set of cases (see below) continues to hum along. The parties filed their joint case management statement ahead of the hearing before Judge Chhabria on July 1, 2026.
There will likely be additional discovery, as discussed in the statement, but the schedule set for the Entrepreneur Media case remains unchanged and applies to all of the related cases:
As discussed above in Meta’s statement, one issue outstanding is whether the 2 newly filed book author and publisher cases, Elsevier and Hobbs, in the Southern District of New York should be transferred to Judge Chhabria as well.
There now is also the newly filed case in South Carolina, Das v. Meta, that has not been mentioned yet by the parties.
