Poseidon Wave Media filed a copyright suit against Suno on May 12, 2026. It raises a single claim of direct copyright infringement.
The suit was filed by Garbarini Fitzgerald law firm in the Southern District of New York.
Judge Castel has been assigned the case.
It’s the 4th copyright suit against Suno in the United States. The others in the U.S. were filed by plaintiffs UMG Recordings, Justice, and Woulard.
Then there’s GEMA in Germany and KODA in Denmark.
