Chicken Soup for the Soul just refiled their complaint against Anthropic.
This comes after Judge Chhabria dismissed their omnibus copyright lawsuit against 8 AI companies, while retaining the lawsuit v. Meta as a related case to Kadrey v. Meta.
So far, Chicken Soup for the Soul has not re-filed against the 6 other AI companies that they originally sued.
This case likely will be related to Cambronne v. Anthropic, another case involve book authors. But Judge Pitts will have to decide whether to sever that omnibus copyright lawsuit against 6 AI companies as well.
This lawsuit brings the total to 106 copyright cases against AI companies.
