Judge Chhabria deemed the newly filed Entrepreneur Media v. Meta a related case to Kadrey v. Meta.
That means Entrepreneur Media will be reassigned to Judge Chhabria from Judge Labson Freeman.
It also gives Entrepreneur Media a chance to resuscitate the controversial new theory of copyright market dilution that Judge Chhabria had embraced in dicta in Kadrey, even though Kadrey failed to advance that theory of market harm under Factor 4 of fair use.
