Apple sued for securities fraud in failing to deliver on AI updates to Siri, iPhone

Eric Tucker has filed a proposed class action against Apple, Tim Cook, and other Apple executives for alleged securities violations in allegedly making false statements about the updates to Siri and the iPhone integrating AI, or what Apple calls Apple Intelligence.

This is quite a twist. As the other Big Tech companies (Meta, Microsoft, and Google) face copyright lawsuits for their AI models, Apple is facing a securities lawsuit for allegedly failing to deliver on its AI claims.
