The initial assignments have been made. Chief Judge Saylor was assigned Justice v. Suno; he already presides over UMG Recordings v. Suno in Boston.
Judge Garnett was assigned Justice v. Uncharted Labs dba Udio in the Southern District of New York. There’s another suit against Udio in the same district, UMG Recordings v. Uncharted Labs, so we can expect it will likely be deemed a related case and will be transferred to Judge Hellerstein, who presides over the latter case.
