Seven lawyers from Susman Godfrey, the same firm representing the New York Times in its lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft, have just been added to represent the plaintiff book authors in two different lawsuits: Nazemian v. NVIDIA and In re Mosaic LLM Litigation.
It’s unclear whether the Susman Godfrey lawyers will take the lead for the plaintiffs or whether the Joseph Saveri Law Firm lawyers will continue to serve in that capacity. In the In re Mosaic LLM Litigation, the Saveri Firm has already been appointed interim lead counsel.
