Elon Musk dropped his lawsuit against OpenAI in California state court. In March 2024, Musk’s Complaint alleged that Sam Altman and OpenAI have breached the Founding Agreement to keep the AI model open source and for the public benefit.
The case was dismissed without prejudice, according to CNBC.
The dismissal comes on the eve of the hearing on OpenAI’s motion to dismiss the case (which is now unnecessary).
