In EVOX Productions v. Stability AI, the 3 defendants, Stability AI, DeviantArt, and Runway AI filed separate motions to dismiss EVOX’s claims. Some of the recent motions to dismiss filed in this and other cases do appear to raise some plausible grounds for dismissal. It will be interesting to see, for example, whether any of the statute of limitations arguments succeed.
