Independent music publisher and record label Round Hill Music just sued Anthropic for copyright infringement for the alleged use of their musical compositions to train Anthropic AI models.
The lawsuit was filed in the Northern District of California. This is the 12th copyright suit v. Anthropic and the 134th overall against AI companies in the United States.
The lead lawyer Richard Busch successfully represented Marvin Gaye’s heirs in the Blurred Lines trial.
