The Huckabee v. Bloomberg is moving into discovery, now that the court rejected Bloomberg’s motion to dismiss. After a conference yesterday, Judge Garnett issued the following order:
ORDER: As discussed on the record at the conference on January 13, 2026, the Court hereby LIFTS the stay on discovery (Dkt. No. 85) and ADOPTS the below discovery schedule:
Amended Pleadings due by 2/27/2026.
Fact Discovery due by 2/26/2027.
Expert Discovery due by 4/16/2027.
Status Conference set for 5/25/2027 at 09:30 AM in Courtroom 906, 40 Centre Street, New York, NY 10007 before Judge Margaret M. Garnett.
The parties are hereby ORDERED to meet and confer regarding interim dates to ensure the timely completion of merits expert discovery, given the deadline above.
