Disney filed its response to Judge Blumenfeld’s order to show cause on why the case against Minimax and other Chinese and Singaporean companies should not be dismissed for lack of prosecution.
Disney has failed to serve the complaint on any of the defendants. But Disney says such failure does not require a dismissal under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. And it may take months to serve the overseas defendants.
