ORDER by Magistrate Judge Lisa J. Cisneros regarding 184 Discovery Letter Brief: Plaintiffs’ request at 184 is GRANTED.
Plaintiffs may depose Dr. Trott, Mr. Sovine, and Mr. Veingalla for up to seven hours each, and Mr. Hartman and Ms. Uhlenhuth for up to four hours each.
The Court agrees that exceeding the 10-deposition limit is appropriate given the importance of the issues in the case, and amount of controversy, the parties’ relative access to information, and the parties’ resources. Plaintiffs’ request to take five additional party depositions in the next week and a half is not unduly burdensome, and to the extent that it presents scheduling challenges, the parties shall have until December 5, 2025 to complete the depositions.
Given the existing discovery and case management deadlines, this brief extension of time for the depositions, will not disturb the overall case schedule.
