OpenAI was hit with 7 new tort lawsuits in California Superior Court for San Francisco (1-3) or Los Angeles County (4-7).

4 cases involve suicides: Lacey, Enneking, Shamblin, and Fox. They add to the existing lawsuit, Raine v. OpenAI, also involving a suicide of a teen.

The lawsuits are:

2. Enneking v. OpenAI, CGC25630809
3. Lacey v. OpenAI, CGC25630808
4. Fox v. OpenAI, 25STCV32379
5. Shamblin v. OpenAI, 25STCV32382
6. Madden v. OpenAI, 25STCV32383
7. Brooks v. OpenAI, 25STCV32386

It appears that the lawsuits were all filed by The Social Media Victims Law Center.
