New suits: (1) Alexander v. Apple, and (2) Reddit v. SerpAPI, Perplexity AI.
These 56 U.S. copyright lawsuits now cover most of the major AI companies in the United States, making it somewhat akin to mass toxic tort litigation.
The only notable US companies that have escaped copyright lawsuits are (1) Amazon and (2) Elon Musk’s xAI.
