Here’s the latest map of all 41 copyright lawsuits against AI companies in the United States.
Since our last map on April 28, here are the changes:
- The new lawsuit Ziff Davis v. OpenAI has been transferred to Judge Stein sitting as the MDL court. Judge Stein now has 13 copyright suits against OpenAI, some of which also involve Microsoft. Is 13 the lucky number?
- Millette’s lawsuit against Google has been voluntarily dismissed following a similar course as Millette v. NVIDIA. Millette v. OpenAI survives and has been transferred to Judge Stein as well in the MDL Litigation.
