OpenAI announced on Sunday an impressive new feature called Deep Research. It basically can perform like your research assistant–or expert. The “strikes back” is a reference to the tumultuous week OpenAI had with the so-called DeepSeek moment from a startup based in China. The AI arms race is heating up.
Unfortunately, it’s available only with the Pro subscription at $200 per month.
