David Boies and lawyers from his firm, Jesse Panuccio and Maxwell Pritt, have joined the lawyers from Joseph Saveri Law Firm in representing the book authors in the Tremblay v. OpenAI lawsuit.
This follows the unceremonious addition of Boies to another book authors’ case, Kadrey v. Meta lawsuit, after Judge Chhabria said he would not appoint the Joseph Saveri Law Firm as interim lead counsel due to a failure to prosecute the case adequately during discovery.
The addition of Boies and his colleagues adds legal firepower in the case against OpenAI.
