7 plaintiffs in Andersen v. Stability AI file ADR certifications for “prefer to discuss” option

Seven of the 10 named plaintiffs in the Sarah Andersen v. Stability AI case have filed their ADR certifications, opting for the option of “prefer to discuss ADR selection with the Assigned Judge at the case management conference.” This doesn’t commit them to ADR. Instead, it just signals their willingness to discuss it with Judge Orrick at the case management conference.

Based on the Joseph Saveri Law Firm’s eagerness to start discovery (stated at the hearing on the motion to dismiss), it would be a surprising to see the case proceed to ADR.
