The unsealed exhibits in Musk v. Altman have been filed. Perhaps none more juicy than information and testimony from Greg Brockman, the co-founder of OpenAI, including from his contemporaneous journal entries during the pivotal time period
By the way, another realization from this is that it would be wrong to steal the nonprofit from him [Musk] to convert to a B corp without him. That would be pretty morally bankrupt, and he’s really not an idiot.
Greg Brockman diary entry on Elon Musk re: Nov. 6, 2017 meeting
1. Brockman admits that becoming a billionaire was a secondary motivation in his work for OpenAI, that “it definitely mattered” to him:

On paper, Brockman’s net worth eventually eclipsed $1 billion:

2. Brockman admits that he was hoping introducing Elon Musk to the potential founding team of OpenAI would convince them to join OpenAI:

3. Brockman credits Musk for helping to convince Ilya Sutskever to leave Google (Brain) and join OpenAI with competitive compensation:

4. Brockman is asked questions about his diary entry for Nov. 6, 2017 in which Ilya Sutskever is noted as raising concerns about their ousting Elon Musk from the OpenAI project:

5. Brockman admits he never donated $100,000 to the OpenAI research lab as he wrote in an email pitch for donations. Brockman does not believe Altman donated $10M either as mentioned in the email.

6. Brockman discusses Elon Musk’s alleged desire for full control over a for-profit OpenAI (unhighlighted passages):

7. Brockman discusses how Elon Musk was unsuccessful when asking Bill Gates for a donation and lamenting that Musk was “70 percent of the cash contributions” to OpenAI. Plus, Brockman’s diary stated: “By the way, another realization from this is that it would be wrong to steal the nonprofit from him [Musk] to convert to a B corp without him. That would be pretty morally bankrupt, and he’s really not an idiot.”

8. Email chain shows one person (DP Kingma) recruited to OpenAI noted that “I think the environment is going to be really special, and Elon’s involvement is awesome. It’s an honour to be a part of this team….Together, these tings have made me very excited to join your lab.”

9. Email on 1/1/18 from Greg Brockman to Elon Musk thanking him for his involvement

10. Email chain on 9/24/2016 from Ilya Sutskever to Elon Musk stating that their meetings “are very helpful”
