As the parties in 2 cases (Bartz v. Anthropic and Vacker v. Eleven Labs) announced reaching settlements in principle after respective mediations, the latest updated map of all copyright lawsuits in the US against AI companies looks like this (below).
The cases in the red rectangles are the 2 cases in which tentative settlements have been reached. Both will need court approval. The Bartz case is more complex because Rule 23(e) of the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure sets forth factors that the district court must apply to determine the fairness of the class settlement.

The other change is that Getty Images v. Stability AI was voluntarily dismissed in Delaware and the filed in the Northern District of California, with some new allegations related to dilution.
